envelope points can't be copied

Hello, I need to copy track together with envelope points. "Envelope points move with media items" is selected. However when I copy items (press Ctrl and move items) Though items are copied, envelope points are moved together with items but the envelope points are not copied just moved from previous position to the copied one.. if you understand what I mean. Many thanks for any suggestion

That's strange... Ctrl+drag item works as expected here: This is the volume envelope, maybe other envelopes have other behavior? But I tried ReaEQ gain envelope, and it works as it should here.

Fabian - does not look like it works - look at the front part of the copied automation should be a straight line. Also - the first automation lane got altered when copied (end of automation rising) This fault comes up all the time for me, I need to fix the front of the automation after copying.

There is a setting, Preferences > Envelope display : Automatically add edge points when editing: Media item. Setting this gives this: Maybe this is what you expect.
