Ample guitar

Hi all, could really do with some help on this one if anyone is familiar with ample guitar whilst using reaper. While running a TAB in AG I want to record the end result to show in the piano roll as a midi pattern. There is a tutorial to show this but is being done in another DAW. I have spent hours trying to to route the signal etc but still end up with nothing.BTW I haven't a clue about routing the signal I was just copying what I saw in the tutorial and I am still nowhere with it. Any help would be great, thank you

If it sends MIDI out you can try sending the MIDI of the track to another track, and recording the MIDI (midi input: all channels).
